Okay guys, I am so sorry about this but I have been having technical difficulties and have not been able to get the Free "Thanksgiving by your own design" E-guide available yet. But here is the plan! And I have one amazingly :), if you would like it sign up for my email and I will e-mail it to you right away! It has little tips and a few recipes and lots of good information to get through the holidays stress free!
You can sign up here on this page, nice and easy! Once you have it in your hand or on your computer I would love to hear what you think of it and what you want more of!
I also wanted to say there will be more of these types of things to come! I am excited about sharing with you the things that I have learned over the years! I want you to feel comfortable in your own skin, to feel really good and I mean that, really good on a daily basis! I have a freedom now that I never had when I was younger and didn't know what I now know. I do try and eat clean most of the time but I allow 10% of doing what I want, or being bad ;) and it does not make me feel guilty or stress about calories or think "man, now I can't eat for the rest of the week"! I live eating clean and it gives me a freedom I never had when I was dieting! And the food I eat is really good(no joke) and filling! Because diets stink, I certainly know that, I have been on enough of them throughout my childhood and my 20's. This is a lifestyle change and it is simple, really simple, step by step, day by day. I have always been searching for a better way and I have found it!
I personally also do a detox every season to keep me on track, I actually call it a clean eating program. It is 15 days long and it is amazing! I am always full and never feel like I am starving myself (I don't particularly enjoy those kinds of detoxes) and in the end I feel amazing! I will be offering one in January so keep your eyes open for some e-mails coming your way with information on that! I'm so excited to do it with you guys this season! It's always so much more fun with company!
Okay, well have a great Thanksgiving!! Relax and enjoy, and I will talk to you soon!
So Monday my daughter decided she wanted to be a big girl and use the potty all the time, not just when the mood hit her.
While I am grateful for the thought of being done with diapers this has not been fun. I guess I know it's not suppose to be fun but the fact that she has been highly motivated by a certain Doc Mobile as a present if she is successful has been helpful! Now I know some would frown upon the use of this kind of motivator but I say it is better than candy every time she goes pee-pee in the potty! Talk about sugar highs and lows, that was done out of desperation with my son sadly. It didn't work so it was a fail but a fail forward because this time what we are doing is working! Yay!
I am sharing this because I have basically been stuck in this house for days! We did go out to dinner last night but that has been it. In this house...all the time, with two small very energetic children, who do not like to play by themselves..., but I digress. My point with sharing this is I have not been able to go grocery shopping (or actually not brave enough, there was an incident at a grocery store with my son and number 2 if you know what I mean, very traumatic) so I have been forced to cook. EEEK! Like at every meal. Which I realize I should do but we have our fall backs for long days, that is still cooking but not from absolute scratch.
I tell you, it has been fun, seriously! I of course have messed up and the kids look at me like I am crazy when I put stuff down in front of them to eat (usually not pretty), but really I forget so easily that I like cooking like this. It takes longer but there is such a good feeling when you know exactly what is in the food you are eating. Now yes maybe crepes shouldn't have been my first thing to attempt, especially vegan crepes (and really how do you get those things so thin?). It's fine, I'm not sure what I did wrong but I will try again tomorrow!
My point is it's easy even for a health coach to get off track, especially when you are busy! So I am going to dig out some of my easy fast recipes and get back on track! I will share some of those in the next couple of days in the hopes of maybe helping you slow down your mad rush and enjoy yourself and maybe a little time with your family! (hopefully enjoying your delicious creation and not trying to explain how it all went wrong like I usually have to ;).
Thanx for reading!
I realize that it is slightly ridiculous and possibly completely unfeeling for the big birds that I say Turkey day but, that is what I think of when Thanksgiving comes around. While I do not partake in the eating of the bird I do love the sides that are served with the meal. Soooo many vegetables, yum yum! I do have to watch though, some people feel they just have to add pork to everything, haha!
Anyway I love the holiday, the family gathering and remembering to be thankful for what we have been blessed with throughout the year! I am just writing today to mention a small a give away that may help you over this particular holiday. With just a few healthier versions of the sides I love so much!
Check my facebook page or my website soon for that! Plus exciting news...(dramatic pause, hehe) I have a new winter clean eating program that I will be offering soon! This program is so amazing I am so excited to get started working with you all so please keep your eyes open for the new info. and join me on this life changing program!! Seriously, if you have been feeling tired, sad, behind in everything or you just want to lose a couple pounds this is the program for you!!
So stay tuned and I will be in touch :)
I am a wife and a mother of two, one boy one girl . They are the loves of my life! And also the reason I do what I do. I have to be able to keep up!
